In 2016 Paul Carey became a CASA Delegate after being issued Instrument of Appointment Number CASA.IOA.0110. The Instrument allows approval of new and amended Systems of Maintenance. This new business was established to concentrate totally on manual authoring, approval and management.

Paul Carey has been authoring aviation manuals for 20 years, and now has the additional capability of approvals for SOM's in house, and externally using peer CASA Delegates for MEL's.
